Sam is 25 years old and is the Minister in Training at Lechlade Baptist Church. He goes to Bristol Baptist College every Tuesday and Wednesday to receive his Baptist ministry training. Sam with his fiance Jenni is looking forward to his work with the communities in Lechlade and Fairford and will be available for all people, including families, young people, socially disadvantaged people, working professionals and older people. Originally Sam is from sunny Bournemouth where most of his family live, and before coming to Lechlade he worked for Dorset Race Equality Council. Prior to this, he worked for the Council of Christians and Jews in London.

Sam did his degree in Theology and Religious Studies at the University of Leeds, and then his MA in Religion and Public Life, also at the University of Leeds. He is currently starting an MLitt/PhD from the University of Bristol.

Sam is getting married to Jenni in May 2010 and some of his interests include coastal hiking, football, and current affairs. His favourite food is Italian!
